The new GSL magazine is an expanded rendition of its highly circulated Going South Sportsman magazine (GSS) that began publication in 2003. The new GS magazine will include more writers and topics that are not limited to hunting and fishing. The increase in local content flexibility allows us to broaden our readership.

 

Along with some great local and regional hunting and fishing articles, the new GS magazine will include even more faith-based, family-friendly outdoorsy-type articles and feature content that has a “country living”, and deep-south feel. 

 

We’re adding more writers researching topics like 
Homesteading, and a wide range of do-it-yourself 
outdoor projects geared toward surviving harsh or unexpected conditions. We will also include fun and exciting family festivals and events that are scheduled

in the areas central to the heart of Georgia. 

 

The Readers will always get a chance to learn more about

or rediscover the roots of our great state as well with some amazing stories and documented facts.

 

The new GS magazine will have plenty for both genders alike with the latest Living Southern articles with an outdoor appeal. We will be also covering many more tasks with “how-to” articles on many topics.

Going South, the magazine is family-oriented and about all aspects of Simple Southern life including, but not limited to Georgia Agriculture, Statewide Pageant Results, Canning techniques, Emergency Survival, and Outdoor News of its local people, local places, and local events of interest in these areas.
