Going South magazine (GS) is a family-oriented
southern-styled glossy print magazine primarily geared toward the true Southerner with a passion
for the outdoors.
GS magazine will feature news articles about local, regional, and state-wide areas of interest
throughout the South.
We will also be sharing inspirational stories of great achievements experienced and overcoming
personal hurdles.
Audience
The new GS magazine is an expanded rendition of its highly circulated Going South Sportsman magazine (GSS), which began publication in 2003.
The new GS magazine will include more writers and topics that are not limited to hunting and fishing. The increase in local content flexibility allows us to broaden our readership.
Along with some great local and regional hunting and fishing articles, the new GS magazine will include even more faith-based, family-friendly outdoorsy-type articles and feature content that has a “country-living”, and “deep-south” feel.
We’re adding more writers researching topics like
Homesteading, and a wide range of do-it-yourself
outdoor projects geared toward surviving harsh or unexpected conditions. We will also include fun and exciting family festivals and events that are scheduled in the areas central to the heart of Georgia.
The Readers will always get a chance to learn more about or rediscover the roots of our great state as well with some amazing stories and documented facts.
The new GS magazine will have plenty for both genders alike with the latest Living Southern articles with an outdoor appeal. We will be also covering many more tasks with “how-to” articles on many topics.
